Kirstens Hideout Café

The food was very good. Everything was homemade and very tasty. The potatoes hashbrowns were homemade. Just wish they had been fried up a bit more maybe even throw in some onions. They were pretty plain Jane. Service was good. you can tell it was a popular place very busy catered to kids, which is lovely and they have tons of different board games and games. Kids could play with us and amuse themselves and if you like Spider-Man, it’s the place to go. it appears the owner is a big fan as well. Very cute.

Great traditional diner experience! My son loved the breakfast sandwich and loaded hashbrowns. I had Blackstone Eggs Benedict, super yummy. To top it off they brought a piece of birthday cake with candle for a birthday we were celebrating, and sang happy birthday. Great experience all-round.

Best restaurant in town. So simple and delicious nothing beats this restaurant. Wonderful food and wonderful prices. Family friendly entertainment and wonderful workers . We are loyal customers since our grandparents times and we still go there as a family. From grandparents to parents now we grandchildren are still going there nice and early for breakfast

They are very Spiderman is Cool here a great hidden away Cafe that came to me with 2 recommendations from unrelated sources! One of them being the cooks' son The waitress was very pleasant and witty, which came as a refreshing surprise compared to the usual no nonsense approach The food is 4.9 with excellent selection of lunch sandwiches and bread options, beautifully done fries, a great Cesar salad, delectable beef dip, and all very well presented There was zero negative feedback from my companions on the dishes and I trust them I had the shrimp sandwich and Cesar salad My personal preference on shrimp, tuna & salmon salads is too have it 'chopped' and mixed into a 'salad' of other complimentary ingredients. Here I experienced layered small canned shrimp with a salad on top. I was not convinced that it is a better way Very execellent home cooked style food with some interesting variations, well worth the effort to finding it. Busy but not so busy that you need to stand in line for a table

This is the nicest little gem. The food is so good. Large portions. The pancakes are so big. Its just awesome. We had such a fun time eating here. The server Teresa was such a delight. Kept us all laughing and it was fun. Were glad we came. Will be back when we come to Kamloops again

Walked in just to see if there’s anything good for brunch and cheeseburger omelette stood out (and confirmed by the server as a great item), then I asked about biscuits and gravy, they don’t have it, but proceeded to tell me about eating pancakes and beef gravy in her younger dancing days for calories before sessions and surprised me later by bringing me a side of pancake and gravy and OMG , it’s out of this world, for those of you that haven’t tried it, YOU SHOULD! Never thought I’d come here and leave with a new favorite (& surprising variations as possibility). Thank You Kirsten for recommending it.

First time here and was a pleasant surprise to be able to play a game at the table with the kiddos while we waited for food! Cute and cozy diner and today was an all women Rockstar staff! Big portions with good prices. If you have littles it is worth the visit for pancakes! It is not often I have to ask for take out boxes! The only challenge I had was food limitations. There is not a lot for dairy and gluten free options, only cream or milk for hot drinks for example. But the staff are so sweet and willing to find you something. I enjoyed a shrimp skillet with modifications.
